USAID EL SALVADOR

Inauguration of newly renovated Honey Plant

With the support of USAID USAID, VAPE is strengthening the beekeeping industry in El Salvador through the renovation of their production plant.

This marks a new phase for VAPE by improving its existing infrastructure and corporate image for both the domestic and international markets.

During her visit to our plant, US Chargé d'Affaires Katherine Dueholm remarked, "What a sweet surprise I had this morning! Today, I visited #Quezaltepeque for the relaunch of VAPE's honey production plant, an initiative that we supported through USAID to generate many jobs in El Salvador's honey value chain."

Support for 64 beekeepers

PANAL DE ABEJAS

We provided support to 64 beekeepers with the necessary supply of sugar, which they use as supplementary food for bees during the winter season.

In summary, this initiative is aimed at strengthening the beekeeping value chain in El Salvador by provding a state of the art honey production plant and supporting local beekeepers with necessary supplies.
